JAKARTA, JurnalPost.com – Christianto Salimanan, founder of the West Java-based startup BioBIM+ Green Building, has successfully secured the Best Pitching Programme award at the Indonesia Youth Summit 2026 organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpora RI) at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta, from 29 to 30 October 2026.
The award was earned for his proposal titled 1,000 Garuda Impact, an initiative designed to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem, empower the younger generation, and unlock business development opportunities in Indonesia.
Christianto’s success follows his participation in the national selection process for the Wirasena Youth Camp 2026, which drew over 5,100 applicants from across the country. He was selected to represent West Java Province before bringing his proposal to the national stage.
As a startup founder and business practitioner, Christianto leverages his entrepreneurial experience to offer a business development approach that focuses not only on launching new ventures but also on their growth and long-term sustainability.
1,000 Garuda Impact: A Vision to Strengthen the Business Ecosystem
Through the 1,000 Garuda Impact program, Christianto aims to connect local business potential with broader development opportunities, including capacity building, network expansion, and market access.
The concept is inspired by the Michelin Starmodel, utilizing a curation and appreciation approach adapted to help introduce high-potential businesses to the public.
According to Christianto, Indonesia is home to many entrepreneurs and young people with creative ideas. However, this potential requires a supportive ecosystem capable of bridging innovation with opportunities for business growth.

“Indonesia possesses immense business potential and young people with extraordinary ideas. However, this potential needs to be supported by an ecosystem that helps them grow, gain access, and create sustainability. Through 1,000 Garuda Impact, I want to provide a space where this potential can evolve into a tangible economic force,” said Christianto.

The program is expected to serve as a collaborative hub for youth, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), startups, business practitioners, and various stakeholders committed to developing the creative economy.
Drawing from Experience in Startup and MSME Development
Christianto is the Founder and CEO of BioBIM+ Green Building, a startup specializing ingreen buildingtechnology, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and sustainable construction.
The startup is supported by the DHKT at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in its innovation and technology development efforts.
His experience in developing technology-based businesses has provided Christianto with a perspective on the importance of innovation, sustainability, and value creation for society.
In addition to his startup work, he has five years of experience in mentoring and developing MSMEs.

Throughout these activities, Christianto has encountered various challenges faced by business owners, ranging from business strategy formulation and digital technology adoption to enhancing entrepreneurial skills.
This experience served as a foundation for designing 1,000 Garuda Impact as a proposal intended to reach a wider range of business owners across Indonesia.
Through a collaborative approach, the program is directed toward opening avenues for knowledge exchange, network development, and increasing the competitiveness of local businesses.
National Award as a Stepping Stone for Program Development
Winning the Best Pitching Programme award at the Indonesia Youth Summit 2026 marks a significant milestone for Christianto.
However, he views the award not as an end goal, but as a starting point to expand collaboration and drive the implementation of the ideas he presented.
For Christianto, the success of an entrepreneur is not measured solely by the growth of their own business. He believes that one's experience and knowledge should also be used to benefit others.
“For me, success is not just about building a growing business, but about how our experience can pave the way for others to develop. I believe Indonesia does not lack potential; rather, it needs more space, connections, and opportunities to realize it.”
Through 1,000 Garuda Impact, Christianto hopes to contribute to building a more open entrepreneurship ecosystem capable of supporting sustainable business growth.
Moving forward, the program is expected to evolve into a collaborative movement involving youth, MSMEs, startups, and various parties to strengthen the creative economy and produce innovative, competitive Indonesian entrepreneurs.
