A retired civil servant in Bojonegoro shares her experience using BRI's banking services.

BOJONEGORO, JurnalPost.com – After more than a decade as a Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) customer, Insiyah, a retired civil servant (ASN) in Bojonegoro Regency, East Java, has experienced firsthand the convenience of accessing banking services. From personal savings and business financing to digital transactions and the use of BRILink agents, she has utilized a wide range of offerings.

Insiyah has been a registered BRI customer since 2015. Throughout this time, she has leveraged various banking products to manage her personal finances and support her business activities.

She utilizes two primary savings products: BritAma and Simpedes. Both accounts are integral to her daily financial management, serving as tools for both saving funds and conducting transactions.

Interestingly, the use of BRI services extends beyond just her. Her children have also held BritAma and Simpedes accounts since 2015. This demonstrates that these banking services have been utilized across two generations of her family for over a decade.

BRILink Agents Simplify Community Transactions

For Insiyah, one of the main reasons she remains a loyal BRI customer is the accessibility of the services. The availability of bank branches, ATM networks, and BRILink agents provides multiple options for conducting transactions as needed.

She believes the presence of BRILink agents is highly beneficial to the community, especially for those living far from bank branches or those who require transaction services within their immediate neighborhood.

"The presence of BRILink agents provides the community with an alternative for accessing financial transaction services. Customers do not always have to visit a branch office or a BRI unit to fulfill their specific transaction needs," Insiyah explained.

Through BRILink agents, the public can access various banking services, such as cash withdrawals, money transfers, bill payments, and other transactions, depending on the facilities available at each agent location.

These services also provide convenience for customers with busy schedules. For certain transactions, people no longer need to spend time traveling to a bank branch.

In rural areas, the BRILink agent network plays a vital role in expanding the reach of financial services. By operating out of local shops and businesses, these agents allow banking transactions to be conducted closer to residential areas.

Utilizing BRI KUR for Business Capital

In addition to savings products, Insiyah has experience utilizing BRI's People's Business Credit (KUR) facility.

As a business owner, she noted that she has used this financing to support her capital requirements.

"I happen to run a business and used the BRI Bojonegoro KUR, which helped increase my business capital," she said.

KUR is a financing program designed to assist micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that meet the eligibility requirements. Through this facility, business owners have the opportunity to obtain additional capital to support productive activities.

Insiyah's experience with KUR demonstrates that the need for banking services goes beyond simple savings and daily transactions; it also encompasses financing for business development.

For MSME players, access to capital is a crucial factor in maintaining business continuity. However, the use of credit facilities must always be adjusted to individual needs, repayment capacity, and applicable financing terms.

BRImo Offers Transaction Alternatives Without Visiting the Bank

As banking technology has evolved, Insiyah has also begun utilizing digital services through the BRImo application.

The application provides customers with the option to perform various banking activities via their mobile phones, including checking account information and conducting financial transactions.

With these digital services, certain transactions can be completed without the need to visit a branch office or locate an ATM.

For Insiyah, BRImo serves as a complement to the banking services she has long relied on. Customers can choose to transact digitally or through a BRILink agent, depending on their specific needs and circumstances.

This development illustrates how conventional and digital banking services can complement one another. While BRImo provides mobile access, BRILink agents remain a preferred choice for those who require in-person transactions, including cash deposits and withdrawals.

Over a Decade of Using BRI Services

Insiyah's experience as a customer since 2015 highlights the diverse financial needs that can arise over time, from managing family savings to seeking additional business capital.

The use of BritAma and Simpedes accounts by both her and her children shows that these banking services have become a part of her family's multi-generational financial activities.

Furthermore, her experience with KUR, BRImo, and the accessibility of BRILink agents provides a clear picture of the wide range of services now available to customers.

For Insiyah, easy access is a key consideration when choosing and using banking services. The presence of BRILink agents in the community and digital services accessible via mobile phones offer the flexibility needed to manage daily transactions.

Her experience serves as an example of how the public can leverage various banking products to suit their needs, whether for managing family finances, conducting transactions, or supporting business activities.
