MOJOKERTO, JurnalPost.com – On January 11, 2026, Sub-group 1, consisting of Muntaz, Enjelina, Heldan, and Hananta, successfully conducted a Digital Promotion Training program for Diva Jaya SMEs in Sumber Kembar Pacet Village. This program aimed to train the SMEs in digital social promotion skills.
Amid the rapid advancement of digital technology, micro, small, and medium enterprises (SMEs) are required to adapt to survive and thrive. A concrete example comes from Diva Jaya SMEs located in Sumber Kembar Village. These SMEs demonstrate that digital promotion and creative content creation are no longer optional but essential needs in facing increasingly competitive market conditions.
Until now, Diva Jaya MSMEs have had high-quality products, but their marketing reach has been limited to the local area. Limited understanding of digital technology and a lack of ability to create engaging marketing content are the main obstacles to expanding their market. This situation is common among many MSMEs in rural areas, which actually have great potential but have not yet optimized their use of digital media.
Through mentoring activities from Subgroup 1 and digital promotion training, Diva Jaya SMEs have been introduced to social media-based marketing strategies, particularly through the TikTok platform. This medium is considered effective because it can reach a wide range of consumers at a relatively low cost. The creation of content in the form of videos of the production process, product packaging, and creative promotional content has proven to be able to attract new consumers. Some of our members also provided guidance on video editing and content creation taught by Heldan and Enjel, as well as guidance on sales on TikTok shop taught by Hananta and Muntaz.
The results of this assistance show significant changes. Diva Jaya MSME’s interaction on social media has increased, as has consumer interest in purchasing. Engaging content not only serves as a promotional tool, but also builds trust and closeness between MSME players and customers. This proves that targeted digital content can significantly increase the selling value of products.
From an opinion perspective, the success of Diva Jaya SMEs should be a collective reflection that the digital transformation of SMEs cannot be delayed. Support in the form of training, mentoring, and digital education is very important, especially for SMEs in rural areas. Local governments, universities, and communities are expected to continue collaborating so that local SMEs can compete not only at the regional level but also nationally.
Diva Jaya SMEs now serve as an example that with the right digital promotion strategy and the ability to create creative content, local SMEs can elevate their status. Digitalization is not a threat but a significant opportunity for SMEs to grow and thrive in the digital economy era.
