BOJONEGORO, JurnalPost.com – Paying for doctor services has become increasingly practical by utilizing the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) from Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI). Through this digital payment service, patients can complete transactions after receiving medical care without needing to prepare cash.

The use of QRIS has become a payment alternative that supports transaction convenience amid the rising use of digital financial services. Patients simply scan the QR code using a payment application that supports QRIS, then enter the payment amount according to the bill.

This method helps patients who do not carry cash when visiting a doctor's practice. Furthermore, digital payments provide a transaction alternative for healthcare providers who have implemented BRI QRIS facilities.

Before making a payment, patients should ensure that the merchant name or recipient appearing in the application matches the intended transaction. After entering the payment amount, patients can double-check the transaction details before confirming.

The digital payment receipt that appears after a successful transaction can also be saved for documentation. This allows patients to have a record of payments that can be reviewed if necessary.

Rudianto, a patient in Bojonegoro, believes that paying with QRIS offers convenience, especially when he does not have enough cash on hand.

“In my opinion, paying with QRIS is quite practical. When I finish my doctor's appointment, I don't need to bother looking for cash or waiting for change. Payment can be made via mobile phone,” he said.

According to him, the availability of digital payment methods also makes the transaction process feel simpler. Patients only need to ensure their balance or funding source is sufficient and that an internet connection is available if the application requires it.

“If payments can be made digitally, it is certainly easier. Especially now that many people are accustomed to using their phones for daily transactions. The important thing is that we still check the amount and ensure the payment is successful,” he said.

However, the availability of QRIS payments depends on the policy of each doctor's practice or healthcare facility. Patients should first confirm whether the service provider accepts payments using BRI QRIS.

The use of QRIS also requires caution. Patients are advised to check the recipient's name, the bill amount, and the transaction status before leaving the practice. If the transaction does not show a successful status, patients can confirm it with the staff to avoid double payments.

Through the QRIS service, BRI is helping to provide a digital payment alternative that can be utilized by business owners and service providers, including doctor's practices that have adopted it.

This convenience is expected to support cashless transactions in people's daily activities. For patients, digital payment is not just about practicality, but also provides more flexible transaction options according to their needs.
