BOJONEGORO, JurnalPost.com — Managing financial transaction needs no longer requires residents to visit a bank branch. In various residential neighborhoods and commercial areas, the presence of BRILink agents has become a practical alternative for those looking to transfer money, make cash withdrawals, or pay various bills.

The agency service, developed by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BRI, allows the public to access a range of banking services through business partners spread across various regions.

The presence of BRILink agents is quite helpful for people who have limited time or live far from bank branches. With locations typically found in small shops, kiosks, and other businesses, residents can conduct transactions while going about their daily activities.

For many Bojonegoro residents, this convenience is the primary reason for choosing to transact through BRILink agents, especially for needs that do not require direct service from bank staff.

Reynand, a BRI customer, admitted that he is helped by the presence of a BRILink agent near his home. According to him, the service provides a more practical option when he needs to conduct financial transactions.

"In my opinion, the existence of BRILink agents is quite helpful. If I need to make a transaction, I can find an agent located near my house. So, I don't always have to go to the bank office for transactions that can be handled by an agent," said Reynand.

He noted that the easily accessible location is one of the main advantages of using the agency service. Furthermore, the operating hours, which follow the individual schedules of each agent, give the public flexibility in choosing when to transact.

BRILink Agents Become an Alternative Financial Service in Local Neighborhoods

The presence of BRILink agents is not just about the convenience of banking transactions. This service also provides an opportunity for small business owners to expand their business activities.

Shops and kiosks that previously only sold daily necessities can now provide financial transaction services after becoming BRILink agent partners.

For the public, the availability of these services allows multiple needs to be met in one place. Meanwhile, for business owners, the agency activity has the potential to attract additional customers.

Reynand stated that the ease of obtaining financial services near his home is important, especially when residents need to transact without having to travel long distances.

However, not all types of banking transactions can be performed through agents. The types of services available depend on the facilities and transaction policies in effect at each individual agent.

Therefore, residents still need to ensure that the transaction they require can indeed be handled before visiting the agent's location.

Transaction Security Must Still Be Prioritized

Behind the convenience offered, security remains a critical concern when residents conduct transactions through BRILink agents.

Customers need to ensure that the transaction location is an official BRILink agent. Additionally, the amount of money sent or withdrawn must be verified before the transaction is confirmed.

Transaction receipts should also be kept as documentation in case they are needed for verification at any time.

Another equally important matter is maintaining the confidentiality of banking information. Customers must never provide their PIN, password, or OTP code to anyone, including those claiming to be bank staff.

The public is also advised to ask about administrative fees before conducting a transaction so they are aware of the total costs to be paid.

Such caution is necessary to ensure that the convenience of the service is balanced with the protection of the customer's account and funds.

Through the BRILink agent network, BRI is expanding the reach of financial services by involving local business owners within the community.

For the people of Bojonegoro, the presence of these agents is a preferred option for handling daily transaction needs in a closer and more practical manner.

Although digital banking services continue to grow, the presence of physical agents still plays a distinct role, especially for those who require cash transactions or direct, in-person assistance.

With an increasingly diverse range of financial service options, the public can determine the best way to transact based on their needs, location, costs, and available facilities.
